Ron proudly served in the United States Army from 1984 to 1989, followed by a career as a Florida State Law Enforcement Officer from 1989 to 1998.
From 1998 through March of 2018, Ron worked in every aspect of the garage door industry, gaining hands-on experience with industry leaders including Overhead Door, JB Mathews/Aero Door, Genie of Clearwater, American Roll-Up, Banko Doors, and West Coast Installation.
Throughout his career, Ron has completed projects for a wide range of residential, commercial, and institutional clients. Past clients include Pinellas County Transit Authority, Hulk Hogan, Frito-Lay, Target, Home Depot, Amtrak, U.S. Homes, Centex, Lennar Homes, David Weekley Homes, and Domain Homes.
Ron has installed and serviced all major garage door brands, including Clopay, Wayne Dalton, Amarr, Raynor, CHI, Windsor, Cornell, and Overhead Door.
In March of 2018, Ron stepped away from the garage door industry and returned to Florida to complete his public service career. He officially retired from the State of Florida on January 28, 2021, achieving the rank of Sergeant.
